A quality location in a highly desirable neighbourhood
for residents who want the best.
Kanata Lakes Apartments is located in a quaint,
attractive neighbourhood close to both a vast array of
shopping possibilities and enticing green spaces. From
the property, two blocks west is the Centrum, an
entertainment retail centre, and the large Town Centre
Park. This charming park is a natural preserve with
ponds and pathways. Immediately to the south is another
park with an artificial lake, complete with wooden
bridge and walkways. A couple of blocks to the north is
the Kanata Lakes Golf and Country Club. To the east,

Scotiabank Place, home to the Ottawa Senators National
League Hockey team, is just over one km from Kanata
Lakes Apartments. With a seating capacity of 18,000,
this venue hosts a variety of concerts and other shows
year round.
Approximately 2 kms north is the Kanata North Business
Park, also known as Silicone Valley North and home to
such names as Alcatel, Mitel, March Networks, Ironbridge
and over 300 small and midsize high tech companies. A
similar distance to the east is the former Nortel
Campus, a 2.3 million square foot office facility, now
housing federal government offices.
Downtown Ottawa is easily accessed by the nearby
Queensway (Hwy 417), which has recently been expanded to
a four lane highway on its western portion leading to
Kanata. A fifth lane is dedicated to express bus
services from the downtown core of Ottawa to a
centralized terminal at the Centrum Mall.
